Little bit too much on the plate?

Have you ever got into the situation, where you have too much stuff going on at the same time?

Like you thought you can take more and more things without really thinking?

Sometimes we add more stuff, situations, jobs, schools into ours schedules and at the paper/calendar it does seems quite manageable right?

But we often forget, how much we must sacrifice in order to manage things successfully.

For example lets plan school morning till evening, and after a part time job later + I want that second degree so let’s add second school at weekends its fine, I still have time for sleep….. wait, but I have to do laundry and cleaning, and I have no time for taking care of my health and I have no time to eat…. ok I guess I’ll do laundry tomorrow so I can do rest…but I have a prior commitment at work I cant skip, ok ill do it other day or day after, I can postpone some things…after a few days: OMG im so tired this week, it was more than I expected, I forgot to even eat some days to not be late to places, I guess I could rest at the weekend and maybe meet a friend that wants to spend time with me for a while…but oh no, i have another school and second job, and I have to clean house and do that laundry…I thought I still have time for myself, why I don’t have time?

OK maybe little bit chaotic example but (aside from second job – so far) literally my situation right now XD.

We often tell ourselves the same phrase: “what I was even thinking?”

But why are we even doing that? Could it be we all have poor planning mind? Or perhaps because of the social standards that tells us that our generations are lazy, so we must prove them wrong? Or because of social media that tells us its fine and manageable and we will also have to be able to party all night and repeat the next day?

Whatever the reason is, we often forger a simple truth and that is that we are not robots, we can´t work without rest (even robots have to recharge).

Humans are truly fascinating, they can take so much pressure and give so much energy but just because someone else can, doesn’t mean you have to. But if you do, then ill just say “good luck, take care and I believe in you, but try to make some time for yourself and recharge”
