This question reminds me of time ,when i was like 13 yeas old and my parents asked me to cook some spaghetti.

I totally forgot i was cooking anything and my waking up point was wierd smell all over the house. And when i went to kitchen i saw it – TOTALY BURNED SPAGHETTI, not just overcooked, no, totally black mass at the bottom of pot.

Water completelly evaporated andspagetti burned down. I was so terrifyed of my parents so i did my best to cover what happened. Luckily they were still about 40 minutes away from home, but we didn´t had any other pots right there i could use so i had to wash and scrape off burnt spaghetti first with took a looooong time (but what can freaked up child with strict parents do aside from putting it all in scrubbing right XD).

I still don´t know how i managed to give that pot that clean look cuz it was all black but i did managed to save it. I also managed to cook new batch of spaghetti in time and successfully played dumb when parents smelled a little bit of burned smell around house (i also gaslihted them tjat it was prbably smell from outside XD).

I came up with the truth years later, when i was older. I find it super funny right now and i still remember the smell after more than a decade.
