I think Leader is not a person, that only gives orders and commands. In my thinking, Leader is someone who shows by his own example how some thinks should be, he/she leads an army in the battle instead of leaving everyone to go ahead and protect himself, he guides towards win without putting pressure. Leader is someone, who can admit that he is wrong or try to understand why others may be unsatisfied with him and will seek for the solution.
Leader is a person that trusts, he knows, he doesn´t have to constantly micromanaging his team, because he knows the team inside and out.
Leader can understand peoples, if they have problems or are stressed, he will try to offer help or guide without pressuring.
Also, Leader is a person that can set clear boundaries, just because he has a kind heart, doesn’t mean he’s a pushover.
So, about the question “Do I see myself as a Leader?” YES, I DO! But I know I’m not right now, and I know it will take some time to be someone people can truly rely on. I think I understand people pretty well, I have a nice intuition, i´m kind to people, but I do slack at some things as boundaries, saying NO.
What I also know for sure is that I kid of like having people working under me and i´m very glad when I can help someone improve with something or when people come to me for advice.
As I said, I know it will take some time and learning, and that´s normal, we get better as we learn.
